The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs that the note published on social networks relating to the granting of 300 scholarships to young Haitians as part of a supposed program set up by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and that of the Nationale Education in partnership with the American Government "does not emanate from its services is a fake and corresponds to intoxication"

"The Ministry condemns this practice by some Internet users who use social networks to disseminate false information and try to discredit State institutions. The Ministry recalls that such practices are liable to prosecution against their perpetrators, the intention of which is to create false hopes among young people and to harm the proper functioning of institutions."

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recalls that the calls for candidates for scholarships offered by partner countries are regularly published on its website and invites young people interested in obtaining a scholarship to go to the Directorate of Cultural Affairs of the Ministry for the necessary follow-up.
