Friday Rameau Normil, the Director General a.i. of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) began in the evening a tour of the Police stations and sub-police stations in the metropolitan area, to inquire about the working conditions of the police officers.

This tour started with the Delmas Police Station where Rameau Normil was warmly welcomed by the police officers. He reaffirmed his interest in the proper functioning of the PNH both at the structural and infrastructural level and after having listened attentively the grievances of the police officers reminding them "I am an element of the base. I know your situation. My presence here is to reassure you of my firm will to work with you in the best conditions so that you can respond effectively and with a high level of professionalism to your mission."

The problems of equipment, salary, insurance, debit card, dilapidated state of certain premises, fringe benefits, promotions, the care of victim police officers... are some of the aspects that have been addressed.

Normil has promised to instructe those responsible to find an urgent solution to recurring problems.
