iciHaiti - Gonaïves : 2 UDMO officers injured in a police operation

On the night from Friday to Saturday March 14, in Gonaïves (Dept. Artibonite), two police officers were injured during a police operation carried out in the Jubilée area, in Bassaau lane at the home of a certain Robenson wanted for his alleged involvement in criminal acts in the City of Independence.
During this operation, which took place in the presence of Justice of the Peace Staniel Register and of Judge Denis Pierre Michel, Agent 1 : Guerbenz Lebrun and Délien Eddy, assigned to the Departmental Unit for Maintaining Order (UDMO), were injured in an exchange of fire with Robenson's accomplices.
A 223 caliber rifle with a magazine containing 13 cartridges was seized. No arrest was made during the operation led by the Investigation Service of the Gonaïves Police Station and UDMO agents, the thugs having managed to flee.
