Within the framework of the awareness and information campaign of the Ministry of Public Health on the Covid-19 coronavirus, the Ministry developed a series of messages for the population with the assistance of the United Nations to protect themselves well and avoid the spread of this disease.

Hand washing :

Washing your hands with soap is one of the most economical and effective measures you can take to protect yourself and others from coronavirus and many other infectious diseases.

The most effective method to wash your hands properly:

• Wet your hands with clean water;

• Apply enough soap to cover your wet hands;

• Rub the entire surface of your hands, not forgetting the back of the hands and the spaces between the fingers and under the nails, for at least 20 seconds;

• Rinse your hands thoroughly with clean water;

• Fry your hands with a clean cloth or disposable towel or dry them in the open air.
