Following the temporary closure of certain health services in several public hospitals, due to the lack, among other things, of equipment to protect against the Covid-19 coronavirus, the Association of Private Hospitals of Haiti (AHPH) informs that after consultations, it was decided that private hospitals would engage in the fight against Covid-19 and provide health care services to the population.

The AHPH advocates a partnership with the State for an orderly takeover. To this end, a Coordination Commission between the AHPH and the State authorities will be set up and invites the State to make the financial and material resources available to them.
