Sunday, the Center of Permanent Information on the Coronavirus (CIPC), received the Mambo Euvonie Georges Auguste, Grand servant of the National Confederation of Haitian Voodoo (KNVA), around the Awareness of various religious beliefs on the coronavirus Covid-19

According to Mambo Auguste, "the coronavirus has exposed all the systems and conventions of our world. It showed us that we are really all equal Tout moun se moun" For her, more than ever, solidarity must be practiced to stop the pandemic.

In addition, Mambo Auguste said that she had noticed that stigma has appeared in our community, stressing that now "everyone is afraid of coughing at thr risk of being killed because of this stigmatization" stressing "It is not part of our culture which wants on the contrary that we practice mutual aid, a culture of living together, a culture of relationships of good neighborliness and not a culture which provokes the desire to kill people sick."

According to Euvonie Georges Auguste, "there are currently individuals affected by Covid-19 who are afraid of going to the hospital for treatment, they are ashamed to go under pain of being stigmatized by the population."
