Pradel Henriquez, the Minister of Culture learned with pain the sad departure for the eternal Orient, of Jacques Maurice Fortère the master of thinking of "Rasin Kanga de Wawa", Sunday April 12 at the Brookdale Hospital, Brooklyn (USA) , at the age of 82 years.

"Passionate about voodoo and the root movement, he had chosen to stay in Haitian music for many years by adopting the root trend. He made his debut in the 1950s. After a brief stint in the direct compass, with Jeunesse Sentimentale, Orchestre, La Gaieté de Nemours Jean-Baptiste and Wébert Sicot.
