On April 10, the Dr. Louis G. Lamothe Foundation, anxious to provide solidarity and patriotic support to the national effort to fight the Coronavirus Covid-19 in Haiti, organized a video conference forum, bringing together international experts of high levels evolving in the diaspora and Haiti, in the medical field, the private sector, the economic sector, Haitian diplomats, personalities of the artistic world, nurses, pharmacists to name a few.

Under the theme "Coronavirus in Haiti, what can we do" this conference addressed several key points of the pandemic including : the effect of institutional and popular awareness, the lack of health infrastructure and medical equipment, management of sick depending on the severity of the cases...

Experts also debated at length on the advances and discoveries of promising treatments including hydrochloroquine.

The Dr. Louis G. Lamothe Foundation will continue its awareness campaign in support of the Ministry of Public Health and the Multisectoral Commission.
