iciHaiti - Sanitation : Major Large cleaning operation in Turgeau

This Sunday, April 19, as part of the Scouts of Haiti's "Flite Corona" campaign, in partnership with the Town Hall of Port-au-Prince, the Regrouping of Sanitation Companies, the Association of Young Managers of Turgeau and in collaboration with the rectorate of Quisqueya University, a vast operation "Sanitation and spraying (disinfection) in the Turgeau district" has been taking place since 7:00 am

This operation includes :
- Garbage collection, awareness of the "clean city";
- The washing of street Jean-Paul II with large amounts of water;
- Spraying from 9:00 a.m. by truck and by manual pumps.

This operation complements the action initiated by teachers and students of the University of installing public handwashing devices in the neighborhood and raising awareness among videos and training provided by the UniQ involved in the fight against the coronavirus and in education in public hygiene.
