The American Embassy in Haiti reminds American citizens in Haiti who wish to return to the United States that if a commercial airline is authorized to operate a flight to the United States, the Embassy will alert the community of American citizens as soon as possible. Please understand that authorization for these flights is often granted with less than 48 hours notice. Please take this into account when preparing your trip, especially if you are not in Port-au-Prince.

In addition, American citizens who wish to go to Port-au-Prince from Cap-Haitien, the Haitian company Sunrise Airways currently operates flights between Cap-Haitien and Port-au-Prince. At the moment, there are no confirmed commercial flights from Haiti to the United States.
