Prime Minister Joseph Jouthe chaired a special National Police Superior Council (CSPN) on Friday to address urgent situations that have lasted too long within the National Police of Haiti (PNH).

At the end of this Special Council Prime Minister Jouthe declared "I have just chaired a CSPN to raise the problems of the PNH and insecurity. I would like to take this opportunity to announce that drastic measures have been taken to resolve the problems of wage arrears, in particular those of the 29th and 30th promotions of the PHN.

I also passed instructions so that an audit on the management of the various administrations of the PNH was held as soon as possible, in order to guarantee the smooth running of the institution."
