Pradel Henriquez, the Minister of Culture informs the general public and young poets in particular that a national poetry competition is open around the theme "Containment to fight the coronavirus".

To participate, young poets not older than 35 and who have never published, must write a collection of poetry in Creole or French.

Applicants must submit their work between June 1 and 7, 2020 in poetic collection format between 60 and 100 pages at the email address : dcal_mc@yahoo.fr

The two national winners (one in Creole and the other in French) will be chosen by a jury of 5 members.

A collection of 500 copies will be officially given to them during the Prize-giving ceremony.

A collective with territorial or departmental representation is planned in terms of literary publication which will encourage the best extracts.

This competition is organized in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, cultural organizations under the Ministry of Culture and C3 Éditions.
