iciHaiti - Covid-19 : Canada grants $100,000 to 13 women's organizations

Canada is donating 100,000 Canadian dollars through its "Women's Voice and Leadership" project to the Center for International Studies and Cooperation (CECI-Haiti) which will support 13 women's organizations for their awareness-raising activities for prevention purposes Covid-19 and the upsurge in gender-based violence that could ensue.

Canada emphasizes, "Because an effective response is an inclusive response, these new initiatives will bring to the fore the rights of women and girls who are affected differently by this crisis. The 13 selected organizations will deploy their efforts over the next two months over a large part of the national territory, and particularly in the Departments of North, North-East and South "
