Tuesday around 4h00 pm, Units of the Central Direction of the Judicial Police, such as the Brigade of fight against the theft of vehicles, the Brigade of Intervention and Research and the Office of Judicial Information carried out an operation of dismantling of an armed gang specializing in the theft of motorcycles in the locality of Sarthe, more precisely in Fougie.

As part of this operation, 3 individuals were arrested, identified as Jean Baptiste Jean Yvon, Matel Marcellus and Emmanuel.

Also were seized : 10 motorcycle plates, a 38 caliber revolver and ammunition, 8 mobile phones, 6 motorcycles, 10 insurance certificates, 2 generators and a large sum of money in Gourdes

The operation was carried out in the presence of Me Jamesy Gimcis Geoassaint, Deputy Judge of the Croix-des-Bouquets.
