Alerted by residents worried about the risk of the spread of the Covid-19, of the presence of many hikers without mask on the eco-tourist sites of Kenscoff, Audain Fils Bernadel the Minister of the Interior, accompanied in particular by his counterpart of the Environment, Abner Septembre, as well as the Police Commissioner of the Commune of Kenscoff, Stanley Augustin and a local team of Civil Protection carried out a site inspection visit to raise awareness and dissuade the many hikers from frequenting these places without mask.

Accompanied by Brigadiers and Volunteers of Civil Protection, Minister Bernadel took the opportunity to educate visitors and local residents found on eco-tourist sites on the behaviors to adopt to avoid the spread of Covid-19, recalling "Our commitment to ensure respect for provisions and vigilance in relation to the state of health emergency is to help and encourage the population to protect themselves as much as possible in relation to the pandemic."
