Tuesday as part of the repatriation to their home of more than 50,000 crew members of different nationalities, 101 Haitian crew members who worked on various ships of the Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (RCCL) were repatriated to Labadee on board of "Anthem of the Seas" ship.

A team from the Ministry of Public Health led by Dr Ernst Robert Jasmin declared that each Haitian repatriated carried a medical certificate of non-contamination with Covid-19, having spent more than forty days confined on board the boat under medical supervision.

This did not prevent the Port Authority health team from carrying out the health checks provided for in the health emergency procedure.
