iciHaiti - Call for donations : The Festival Haiti en Folie will be held online 25/05/2020 10:21:48
For this new edition, the Festival will present a special program in conjunction with the Haiti en Folie Festival in New York City. The participating artists, the dissemination platforms selected and the new format will be revealed in June. "Since the start of the Covid-19 crisis, Haitian artists have been among the forgotten and living in a precarious financial situation. These artists have been there with us, offering their works online for free for several weeks. It is our turn to support them and that is why we appeal to everyone for voluntary donations," underlines Fabienne Colas, which works hard to offer you a most festive program under the sign of solidarity and in celebration of the resilience of the Haitian people. To this end, a voluntary donation campaign has been launched with the aim of offering a memorable edition and in support of artists. Funding campaign : Given the difficult situation we are experiencing at the moment, we are asking all of Festival's friends and the general population to help Haitian artists living in precarious times by making a donation to support the free portion of the event and offer a cachet to participating artists.
