Pradel Henriquez, the Minister of Culture "salutes the genius of the sculptor, Woody Caymitte" aka "Filipo" author of a bust in memory of the African-American citizen, Georges Floyd killed by the police officer of Minneapolis (Minnesota, USA).

For Minister Henriquez, Woodly Caymitte "produced an expressive and masterful portrait, a sculptural work which aims sometimes to capture the moment, to capture the news, sometimes also, to immortalize the memory of man."

He underlines that Woodly Caymitte, Professor of sculpture at the National School of Arts (ENARTS), wanted "to show his respect for the victim and his deep solidarity in a context of almost universal revolt."
