The International Music Day in Haiti (June 21) was widely celebrated, both in Port-au-Prince and in the provinces, through the Alliances Françaises.

Pradel Henriquez Minister of Culture said he was proud of the behavior of citizens during these festivals, and also proud of the sense of responsibility of Promoters and Cultural Organizers who, in this context of the Covid-19 pandemic, imposed themselves strict discipline to produce quality shows while protecting festival-goers and artists, who have taken part in virtual programs.

However, with the arrival of the patronal feasts which have already started in the North of the country (Trou du Nord...), their traditional character and their religious side which challenge our compatriots of the soil and the diaspora, Minister Henriquez in this period of Covid-19 pandemic on the national territory, calls on the population to be cautious and to remain vigilant, to apply barrier gestures and to constantly wear their mask.
