Over the past week, the United States Coast Guard and the US Border Patrol have located and rescued 13 Haitian boat peoples (9 men, 3 women and a 4-month-old baby) who have gone in search of a better life, whose the boat drifted at sea off the coast of Martin County (Florida) following an engine failure.

The boat, coming from Haiti has been drifting for an indefinite number of days, all the migrants, including the baby, suffered from dehydration and received treatment before being handed over to the relevant American authorities...
