The communications unit of the State University of Haiti (UEH) informs the general public and the university community in particular that a new Executive Council was elected at the head of the UEH Sunday July 5, 2020, during a poll which took place in a serene atmosphere.

Results of the Executive Council elections :

Rector: Fritz Deshommes re-elected in the first round with 20 votes out of 32 (62.5%);

Vice-rector for Academic Affairs: Jean Poincy elected in the second round with 16 votes out of 31 (51.61%);

Vice-rector for Research: Jacques Blaise, re-elected in the first round with 17 votes out of 32 (56.67%).

Recall that this new Executive Council elected by the members of the University Council has a mandate of 4 years.
