As part of the Cannes Film Market, the "Cinema – fiction" and "Documentaries – series" Commissions of the Image Fund of La Francophonie, have selected 30 film projects for the year 2020, which will benefit from financial assistance, among which are 3 Haitian films.

List of the 3 Haitian productions selected :

"Rue Dorval" a 90-minute fictional feature film by Bruno Mourral which will receive financial assistance of 15,000 Euros;

"Freda" a 90-minute fictional feature film by Jessica Geneus, which will receive funding of 10,000 Euros;

"Forgetting Kills Twice" a 70-minute documentary by Pierre Michel Jean which will receive financial assistance of 75,000 Euros.

Remember that the Image Fund of La Francophonie is reserved for countries of the South, members of the International Organization of La Francophonie and is endowed with approximately 1.6 million euros. Of this fund, 1 million is allocated by the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) and 624,000 euros are available under the CLAP / ACP project. This project benefits from financial aid from the European Union and support from the Organization of ACP States.
