The Secretariat of State for Literacy recently organized a mission in the Center department around the process of revitalizing literacy.

Hervé Saintilus, Secretary of State for Literacy accompanied by a large delegation, met the various authorities and personalities of the Department with a view to informing them about the new decisions taken by the State, and of the plan to revitalize literacy.

A training seminar was organized for the new administrative executies who will integrate the departmental coordinations in order to in turn train the monitors and operation supervisors. During these meetings, the Secretary of State concluded agreements and forged cooperation links with various representatives of key sectors of the department.

He reiterated the role of the state in its efforts for literacy and took the opportunity to announce the establishment of a structure in Mirebalais aimed at promoting social integration through literacy, the engine of sustainable development.

Saintilus said he was confident in the success of the next nationwide literacy campaign.
