iciHaiti - Politic : EDH will not charge its clients for the long blackout in July

Sunday at the National Palace, as part of the Community Dialogue presented by President Moïse, Michel Présumé the new Director General of Electricity of Haiti (EDH) intervening on the long blackout of July in most areas of the metropolitan area and provincial towns announced :
"I'm officially informing you that we will not charge people for the entire period in which they have not received electricity. They will not be billed for the month of July, including the fixed subscription fee [...]" adding "[...] We will send an invoice to zero, with an apology note [...] We do not can not penalize customers so, that we have not given them service..."
