iciHaiti - Insecurity : Bandits on motorcycles shoot at a vehicle, 1 dead and 2 seriously injured
Thursday around noon in Lalue, 5 armed individuals on 3 motorcycles who chased an Izuzu DMax vehicle opened fire and riddled the said vehicle with bullets, injuring all the people on board before fleeing.
In the vehicle was businessman Michel Saieh (84 years old), owner of a supermarket in Port-au-Prince) who succumbed to his injuries, his wife Gladys Saieh and the driver Charles Champar who risposted with a 38 caliber revolver although seriously injured as the wife of Michel Saieh who were rushed to hospital.
The police, in addition to the 5 individuals, are also looking for a vehicle that could be involved in this attack, the motive of which at this stage of the investigation remains unknown for the moment.
