Friday, August 28 in the evening, unidentified and heavily armed individuals opened fire for an unknown reason on passers-by who were near a gas station in the "Fleranso" zone (commune of Saint-Marc) before leaving the premises after their package, without being worried.

At least 3 people were injured, including an 11-year-old in the savage attack, and were rushed to Saint-Nicolas Hospital in Saint-Marc.

The Haitian National Police (PNH), which arrived after the attack, could only observe the facts and collect testimonies for the purposes of the investigation.

No arrests have been reported.
