Tuesday, October 27, the former senator of Artibonite and former Minister of the Interior under the transitional government of former President Jocelerme Privert, hospitalized in Canada for pancreatic cancer that he had been fighting for several years, died of cardiac complications at the age of 59.
A native of Petite Rivière de Artibonite, sociologist, former Catholic priest turned politician, university professor, he projected the image of a great politician during his time in Parliament.
