As part of a promise from President Moïse, Patrix Sévère, the Minister of Agriculture in the presence of Dady Alexis, the Mayor of the commune of Anse-Rouge, Junior Louis, member of the Board of Directors of the communal section Surchaud proceeded on Wednesday to the distribution of fishing boats to representatives of fishermen's associations
These are new boats built in Haiti each equipped with a brand new Yamaha engine "We now distribute 4 boats to fishermen's associations. There is another to hand over which did not arrive on time because the truck transporting it broke down," said Minister Sévère, granting the beneficiary associations gasoline vouchers corresponding to 25,000 gourdes.
"These boats will change the situation of our lives by improving it. We are going to use them wisely to have the financial means to pay for our children's school fees," said a member of a fishermen's association who received a boat.
