iciHaiti - Fuel : Warning from the Minister of Trade
Jonas Coffy, the Minister of Trade and Industry, reminds all those concerned and the general public that in accordance with the legal provisions in force, the sale on public roads of petroleum products, in particular gasoline and diesel, is strictly prohibited.
The Minister took the opportunity "[...] to warn all the owners of gas stations who, under false pretenses, close their gas station(s) causing an artificial scarcity which opens the way to speculation illicit (black market) [...] "
The Minister of Commerce informs that all the perpetrators of these offenses will be punished in accordance with the provisions of the law of December 20, 1946 on illegal speculation.
