This team will be led by Webens Princimé who will take over from Jean Claude Josaphat who is engaged with the senior men's team during this period. Let's emphasize that it will be above all a pre-selection in order to find the best players who will have to permanently integrate the group to compete in the competition. During this phase of the preparation, several friendly matches are planned. The young Grenadiers will face the Amateur Mexican Selection in the same category in a friendly, at the Sylvio Cator stadium on March 6. Several other matches are being negotiated with other Mexican teams, such as Lion FC and others... Our Grenadiers will also be able to compete against the American football selection. But there are still some details to work out before confirming the schedule of friendlies. Recall that Haiti is in Group B, alongside Canada, El Salvador and Honduras. After this phase of gathering with the local players, the Selection will leave the country on March 7 towards Mexico in Guadalajara for the last eliminatory phase (from March 18 to 30), in order to acclimatize, to put the last points on the “i's” and adapt to the new reality imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
