Marie Gréta Roy Clément, the Minister of Public Health and Population (MSPP) informs the population that after her investigation in Léogâne and Port-de-Paix, there is no epidemic of fever, unlike false information circulating on social networks.

The Ministry of Public Health, through the West and North West health directorates, contacted officials of several hospitals in the region to investigate, noting that they had not made a diagnosis of fever.

The MSPP will continue to receive information from Epidemiological Surveillance Officers who are in all departments of the country to continue to monitor all issues related to the epidemic.

Once again, the Ministry urges the public to be very vigilant with the information disseminated on social networks and invites everyone to follow the health information disseminated on the official website and the social network of the Ministry.
