The President of the Haiti Futsal Association, Alain Grégoire announced that Alexandre Kénol is now the coach of the Haitian national futsal team.

Alexandre Kénol will be accompanied by Francisco Vela (Technical Director of the AS Blainville Soccer Club and head coach of the Nomades of Montmorency College in Canada, Danny Xavier Morales (Ex-international of Guatemala) and Alain Grégoire who will complete the quartet. He will have the mission of qualifying the Haitian selection for the next Futsal World Cup to be held in September 2021 in Lithuania.

The Grenadiers will play the CONCACAF qualifiers which will take place in Guatemala City, from May 3 to May 9, 2021. The selection of players will take place in the coming weeks to form the team which will consist of 14 players (12 players and 2 goalkeepers).

Alexandre Kénol has always evolved in Canada and was a coach at the Blainville Soccer Association and the Repentigny Soccer club. He was the technical director of the Deux-Montagnes Shamrocks Soccer Club.

In the school field, he has been in charge of Futsal for the Marauders program at Collège Laval since 2007. He has been assistant coach of the Nomades de Montmorency and the Indians of Collège Ahuntsic. He founded the Futsal club Cinque Stelle Fc and has also coached the team for the past two years. He was assistant coach of the Canadian Futsal team at the 2018 FISU World Championships in Kazakhstan.
