iciHaiti - Heritage : Important meeting with the Prime Minister

The Prime Minister, Joseph Jouthe, met this week with Pradel Henriquez, Minister of Culture, Jean Myriam, Minister of Tourism and the Technical Director of the Institute for the Protection of National Heritage (ISPAN) in order to inquire abourt the state of the monuments and the tangible and intangible heritage of the country.
The opportunity for the Head of Government to learn about the problems faced by the various actors involved in the management of these high places marking the most beautiful pages in the history of Haiti, the funding available as well as the benefits of the multiple projects implemented in the sector.
During this meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized the need for his Government to continue to preserve historic sites through interventions deemed urgent for the protection, safeguard and restoration of national heritage.
