iciHaiti - North : Arrest of «Tibòkò», a dangerous Gang Leader

On April 20 at around 2:00 am, a joint operation led by the Haitian National Police and Me. Eno Zéphirin Government Commissioner of Grande-Rivière-du-Nord made it possible to arrest the powerful gang leader Darcelin Mérilus commonly known as Wisly aka "Tibòkò" operating in Morne Grand Gilles as well as 3 of his henchmen. A Kalashnikov assault rifle was also seized.
The Gang specialized in rapes, armed robberies and robberies on buses providing the route Cap-Haitien/Port-au-Prince.
