Of the 1,111 cases handled by CAN in March 2021 (+ 11.34% compared to the previous month https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-33442-icihaiti-health-review-of-the-national-ambulance-center-march-2021.html ), 31% were obstetric emergencies, 17% road accidents and 16% chronic diseases various pathologies. This report reveals that the CAN intervened in: 49 cases of respiratory distress; 195 cases of chronic disease; 384 obstetric emergencies; 118 transfers (referrals and laboratory examinations); 152 various ailments (Malaise, diarrhea, fever, anemia, abdominal pain, etc.). In addition, CAN intervened in 208 road accidents, 30 gunshot wounds, 39 stab wounds, 32 head injuries and 16 burn cases, as well as 14 cases of Covid-19 including 8 confirmed. 679 interventions took place in the West, 113 in Artibonite, 72 in the North/North-East, 109 in the North-West, 34 in the South, 98 without the South-East, 29 in the Center, 72 in Grand'Anse and 31 in Nippes.
