Saturday May 15, 2021 in Cap-Haitien, agents of the Office for the Fight against Narcotic Trafficking (BLTS) accompanied by surveillance agents of the National Port Authority (APN) of Cap-Haïtien, discovered and seized during a routine search of a container on the wharf, an American-made "Rugger" brand pistol, caliber 9 mm (serial # 384-18468).

The owner of the container was arrested and is currently being held at the BLTS base in Cap-Haïtien for the rest of the procedure.

Remember that the illegal entry of firearms and/or ammunition into the national territory is strictly prohibited and punishable by law.
