Since 2015, on the occasion of the "Fête de la Musique", the "Rencontres des Musiques du Monde" festival offers a poster where artists from all backgrounds meet, to share modern and original music, rooted in cultures and traditions. alive. Unfortunately, for 3 years, this annual meeting, set around June 21, cannot be held in front of a face-to-face public, due to the socio-political situation of the country, and now coupled with the Covid-19 pandemic.

This year, the June 21 show will combine unprecedented live performances, documentary portraits, artist news and interviews. It will start in Guyana, will then climb to the top of the Citadelle Laferrière with Gardy Girault, will cross the seas to reach Europe, where BélO and Dobet Gnahoré are located, respectively in Brussels and Strasbourg, will pass through Burkina Faso then by Martinique, to greet Aboubakar Traoré and James Germain before joining Michèle Lemoine, Pierre Kwenders, Renette Désir and the Boulpik troubadours in Port-au-Prince.

The show will be broadcast on Monday, June 21 at 7:00 p.m. (Haitian time), among others on the Facebook pages: Rencontres des Musiques du Monde, FOKAL, Chokarella, Ticket Magazine & Akoustik Prod.
