iciHaiti - ELSA : Food For The Poor sends 10 containers of aid to the South

On Sunday July 4, 2021, the humanitarian organization Food For The Poor (FFTP Haiti) was able to successfully send a convoy of 10 40-foot containers and 2 auxiliary trucks from its campus in Port-au-Prince to the great South with the mission of delivering food and other emergency essentials to fill its 4 regional distribution centers in the departments of Sud, Sud-Est, Grand'Anse and Nippes.

Having been unable to make deliveries in these areas for 4 weeks already, FFTP Haiti seized a window of opportunity in the aftermath of Storm Elsa, so that thousands of beneficiaries at Acul de Léogâne, Jérémie, Jacmel and Anse à Veau, can finally be served at our various distribution points.

Food For The Poor thanks the Government of Taiwan (Republic of China) for their support, "Thanks to this partnership, we can give rice to thousands of families in Haiti. Thank you also to our donors without whom our mission could not be accomplished."
