Michel Présumé, Director General of Electricity of Haiti (EDH) once again denounces the illegal occupation of the Péligre hydroelectric plant by armed individuals posing as security agents and endangering the facilities.

He urges the State to act as quickly as possible to allow the plant to operate and supply the 36 Mw network available.

"The General Directorate of EdH wishes to advise the general public and its subscribers in particular that these armed individuals openly utter threats against the Péligre power plant, the dam and the technicians of the company."
