iciHaiti - Taiwan : 12 tons of humanitarian aid

Thursday, September 23, the Embassy of Taiwan (Republic of China) in Haiti informs that a batch of 12 tons of humanitarian aid from the Taiwanese Red Cross was delivered that same day by Ambassador Wen-Jiann Ku to the Republic of Haiti, to the President of the Haitian Red Cross Guiteau Jean-Pierre in the presence of Pierrot Delienne, Advisor to the Minister of Planning and External Cooperation.

This humanitarian aid, consisting of tents, sleeping bags, masks, mattresses, dry food rations, tarpaulins, gloves, soaps, health kits for women.

Ambassador Ku said he was convinced that this donation will help forge the solidarity that will accompany Haiti in meeting the challenge of the August 14 earthquake.
