Saturday, October 23, 2021, the communication office of the Prime Minister formally denied the information circulating on social networks, relating to any stabilization of the US dollar on the formal market, against the Gourde, i.e. 60 gdes for 1 US dollar up to January 2022.

The bureau draws the attention of the public that this information is only false allegations coming from certain sectors which are only intended to cause trouble and confusion in our society.

We urge all parties to be cautious in using the multiple unfounded messages disseminated by individuals whose expertise revolves expressly around disinformation.
