Monday the first of 3 days of work stoppage and protest against generalized insecurity and the scarcity of fuel on the national market, launched by the public transport unions strongly disrupted almost all activities in the metropolitan area, the capital and in several large provincial towns.
Most commercial enterprises as well as educational establishments have kept their doors closed. We are reported in the metropolitan area barricades of inflamed tires at the bottom of Delmas, Carrefour Vincent, Canapé-Vert and Pernier and throwing stones and broken bottles...
