Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Toussaint Louverture International Airport, agents of the Narcotics Trafficking Brigade (BLTS) unit of the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ), arrested 3 people holders of an Italian passport : Kenneth Madukanze (24), Peter Idibagen (28) and Bandiougou Bagayoko suspected of mule (transporting narcotics).

These two people were taken to a hospital in the metropolitan area to be x-rayed. The results revealed that they did have foreign bodies [drug capsules] in their intestines, and a procedure is underway to recover these narcotics.

At the same time, a judicial investigation was opened to the DCPJ in order to trace the network and identify their accomplices.
