iciHaiti - Insecurity : More than 1,000 kidnappings in 2021
According to the latest figures from the Center for Analysis and Research in Human Rights (CARDH), from January 1st to December 27, 2021, at least 1,002 cases of kidnappings were recorded in Haiti, an average of nearly 3 kidnappings per day ( 2.77).

This number includes 81 foreigners from 6 countries and at least 40 religious.

CARDH criticizes the public, political and private sectors which the organization says are directly or indirectly responsible for the proliferation of gangs and crime.
