iciHaiti - PNH : Major anti-gang operation, 4 arrests, several deaths
The Croix-des-Bouquets police station, supported by specialized units SWATT, BRI, BLTS, BLVV, BIM, CIMO and the Tabarre intervention brigade, carried out a major operation on January 19, 2022 in Cité Doudoune, a district located not far from the town center where several bandits were fatally injured in exchanges of fire with the police.

Four individuals were arrested during this operation, which is part of an overall plan to dismantle all gang networks operating in the commune of Croix-des-Bouquets:

1- Roberson ARISTIDE born March 6, 1988 in Zoranjé (Croix-des-Bouquets)
2- Roselie CHERISMÉ born April 22, 1979 in Roche-à-Bateau (South).
3- Emmanuel SYLVESTRE born December 22, 1986 in Port-au-Prince.
4- Denis LESPERANCE born August 15, 1995 in Belle-Anse (south-east)

Note that Roselie Cherismé is the concubine of "Dominique" as well known who is a leader of the gang evolving in Cité Doudoune and who works on behalf of the group of gangs "400 Mawozo". The latter, in reaction tried the same day in the afternoon, to besiege the city by heavy automatic weapons shots but they were pushed back to their entrenchments thanks to the deployment of the police who quickly regained control of the situation.
