Macky Kessa, the mayor of Jacmel assures that the preparations for the 30th edition of the carnival of Jacmel are going well and that all arrangements are made for the success of this cultural event. In addition, he reiterated his call to the Jacmel population to show solidarity and discipline so that everything goes well.

The pre-parade of the carnival will take place on Sunday February 13 and February 20 will be the day of the Carnival of Jacmel which will take place this year around the theme "Jakmèl, vil kanaval pou toutan". Carnival which will be followed by three traditional fat days.
