On Wednesday, February 16, agents from the Bureau for the Fight against Drug Trafficking (BLTS) two individuals were arrested.

The arrests took place during a routine check of officers from the Vivy Mitchel Substation. The 2 individuals identified as Peterson JEAN (37 years old) from Port-au-Prince and Laner DACELUS (48) from Côtes-de-Fer, South-East department aboard a stolen vehicle, brand Suzuki Grand Vitara registered BB-51030 were in possession of 1kg of cocaine.

The two men, accused of drug possession and trafficking, were taken into custody and an investigation was opened at the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police in order to trace the other members of this network.
