The French Embassy in Haiti denies rumors that the French Institute of Haiti will close in May 2022..
Constrained by the extremely degraded security situation prevailing in Port-au-Prince, the French Embassy decided to suspend, several months ago, in situ activities (live performances, conferences, French lessons, cinema) so as not to endanger the public and the personnel of the establishment.
In order to continue to fulfill its missions, the management of the establishment offers online cultural programming, organizes distance learning courses and provides uninterrupted service to "Études en France" students within the Espace Campus France.
