Following several complaints of internet fraud filed in recent months against an individual using his photo in a police uniform on social networks to inspire confidence in people and then scam them by offering them, for a fee, false services purchase of Dominican visas or other travel documents; Wesly Pierre (28) was arrested accused of usurpation of title and fraud.
Let's recall that the National Police of Haiti (PNH) faithful to its mission to protect and serve the population has put in place strategies to unmask offenders who created fake accounts on social networks to extort money from compatriots.
