In anticipation of the friendly match, Haiti vs Guatemala Sunday, March 27 at 4:00 p.m. at Drive Pink Stadium in Fort Lauderdale (Florida), the Haitian football team, led by Frenchman Jean Jacques Pierre, began to regroup since Thursday, March 24.

Reunions for some, first selections for others, this first gathering of the Grenadiers for this year 2022 will be an opportunity for the technical staff to lay the foundations of a team which must compete in the League of Nations of the Confederation of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF) next June.

Haiti-Guatemala is a preparation match for the two selections.

Friday 25 in the morning, the grenadiers began the activities with a muscular awakening. In the afternoon, they had the first of two training sessions on the pitch.

Official training, the day before the match, will take place on Saturday March 26 on one of the grounds adjoining the Drive Pink Stadium. Coach Jean Jacques Pierre and his staff will take the opportunity to make the final adjustments to the game plan before facing Guatemala.

For this match, Jean Jacques Pierre, summoned 20 players. It should be noted the notable absence of star players like Duckens Nazon, Frantzdy Pierrot and Johnny Placide in this list.
